Japan 2017

Amie + Piotr Japan tour to meet more of our Japanese relatives that didn’t make it to their wedding. During our journey, we visited a Yayoi Kusama Museum in Tokyo, Dotombori in Osaka, a snake café, this beautiful ceramics/gallery/café, a shrine built in the shape of a monster-looking lion’s head (and a creepy lady maybe cosplaying?) and savored mouth-watering tonkatsu at Tonkatsu Musashi.

Seriously. Creepy vibes for sure.

We pretended to be taking a group selfie. (I can’t remember if Piotr actually ended up tapping the shutter button on Chinatsu’s phone).

Toronto/Bermuda 2017

A highlight in Toronto was the absolutely delicious Big Bang Cone from Bang Bang Icecream. It was heavenly. Flavors: Totaro and Matcha with Genmaicha. The cone itself is to be marveled. Crispy on the outside. Soft on the inside.

Guillermo del Toro: At Home with Monsters was both intriguing and amusing. I would have spent more time if I could. We then traversed off to Bermuda with its charming island life and pastel painted exteriors. I'm also dreaming of the fries at Devil's Isle Restaurant. I visited the Crystal Caves where Fraggle Rock was inspired. Nature is crazy and spectacular.
