Giving back has always been important to me, and I've been active in various service organizations for most of my life. To get back to those roots, a portion of my proceeds will go to a non-profit or charitable organization. I hope to document where these proceeds go and share them here.
A local non-profit near and dear to my heart is Wine Country Animal Lovers (or WCAL for short). Our very own, Ziggy Stardust, was adopted through their rescue organization. We decided to become fosters and cared for 5 kittens until they were old enough to get spayed/neutered and adopted out to their furever homes. This is an entirely volunteer run animal rescue that I plan to continue volunteering/fostering/donating to. I firmly believe in adopting over shopping and have a deep love and respect for all animals and wildlife.
